This might be my favourite beat I’ve heard this man rap on! (I’ll explain why later) but after covering already a handful of singles it seems he has no idea of stopping yet and with that in mind let’s get into this brand new one! This is the latest single by MC -LOZEE and Producer -BrokenFinga and they drop this just shy of 3 minute track that i guarantee will have the culture talking. Let’s begin with the MC side of things first! So, on this track as stated by the man himself -It ain’t where you from, it’s where you at’ and I feel that best describes LOZEE and his progress over the duration of 2026. From first discovering him on his album to now he’s continued to be a driving force with his versatile nature in beat influences to how he conducts himself on the beats themselves and as far as this goes he showcases another straight down the middle, solid performance that is straight bars, no bullshit He spends the majority of this 2 minutes and 59 seconds spitting! Crisp and raw delivery, a rather introspective and personalised field of lyricism paired with his no nonsense cadence and strong charisma creating the best atmosphere possible for a strong set of lines to captivate the audience! Talking about the atmosphere we have to discus the production side of things because as I said in the intro this beat is hands down my favourite yet and that’s because it utilises my favourite sub genre of rap -JAZZ RAP! And this instrumental has that in spades! I’m talking that lush jazz horn arrangement in that gorgeous loop that’s combined with that rhymes drum pattern and that choir snippet loops that gives an extraordinary texture to the track! There’s also some lighter elements from the occasional plucked strings and delicate keys! Put all this together and you have one of the more infectious beats I’ve heard all year! Mesmerising as all hell, BrokenFinga killed it on this one! Please I ask all of you to check this single out! You won’t be disappointed!
