This is the brand new album produced by Bigg Classic and features the likes of -Royal King Minus -Mad1ne -Allah King Wize -Mr. Ripley -Len-Dor -Sirius B -Lex Lakaiser -Mic Mountain -Pab Montega -M Doc Diego -Princo -IAMSPEECH -LuGhz And I gotta say, while I’m not the biggest fan of albums like these! Compilation records that feature heavy set names you can definitely tell the grand and explosive style they were going for and for a record like this it works! The production itself feels larger than life as they utilise a variation of underground boom Bap, classic early 2000’s Hip Hop and a range of different sounds, influences and samples to create a setting of fun and exciting instrumentals that will make you want to bop your head! Depending on the artists at hand you’ll hear a different production experience and that’s smart. You don’t want to give the impression that your Ignoring the various performers characteristics by throwing them under the same umbrella! So some songs will be methodically paced and in depth, others more free spirited, saturated in sound and more upbeat aesthetic! It’s all part of the fun of the record. It’s also interesting how they add a handful of skits spoken by the rappers themselves. Again not the biggest fan of skits but this one adds a hint of intimacy and personality to the album that I think benefits the listening experience! Speaking of the rappers themselves. Across this huge range of names and cadences we have ourselves 39 minutes of nonstop bar work, fine tuned choruses, personalised skits and a chemistry second to none. Each man is dedicated to not only making sure they deliver the best verses they can! But to help ensure the fluent nature of the record as a whole. This album is a bar fest if I ever heard it! Banger after banger, sometimes a multiple name event where they go back and fourth! I did like how (just like in the sense of production) depending on the track you can have a different experience because of the rappers involved! Your playing spin the wheel with an array of mindset and charismas and the album will let you sample all of them! A lot of the names I was familiar with and a lot I wasn’t but this album helped put the culture on notice and I respect them for utilising the names the way that they did! Definitely a big feel record. You want to sample the culture as is? Then this Is probably your best bet. Get a taste of some of the strongest names we have under some solid production! What more can you ask for?
