Once again! Another side of this man on the beats. I swear he has severe personality disorder unchecked and he’s just making hits off his mental health issues by showcasing a different side every few months! Either way he’s back with a different dope MC who helps create that distinct sound that most haven’t heard yet from these two! Let’s talk on in!

And once again another heavy studded record with many names familiar or otherwise to hop onto the beat and deliver killer performance.
What I discovered about this record is that B1 & Mark went for this Mysterious and Cryptic vibe! All the verses they give play to the strengths of those eerie and unpredictable beats. They utilise this ridiculous bar for bar back to back execution that reminds me of the 90’s era and when it was all bars and no bullshit!
As is usual with B1 he has one again found strong chemistry with this new cat and between the sick puns, heavy wordplay and supreme penmanship between them they match the tone, energy and charisma to create a deadly power force of lyricism that highlights what’s been most important in the culture for decades!
I think it’s in this reasoning they brought the names that they did. A set list of lyrical machines who won’t hesitate to decapitate you on your own track if you let them and so these features feel like a test of ability and survival mode to prove they can rap alongside some of the strongest and come out undefeated on the other end of the track! If I had to list my favourite feature out all? I’d have to say -Shark. He’s a beast at the best of times but he went truly COLD BLOODED on this one!
On the production we have so many different tracks that help build the overall sonic story of the record to create that upper mentioned ‘mysterious’ atmosphere I felt throughout! Whether we are talking tracks like
-Nothing’s Impossible with those subtle and mesmerising Jazz horns that’s combined with those minimal drum patterns, thick used bass strings which all comes together to make this stripped back instrumental that sets the map for those MC’s to go off! Including Lotus who massacred this track!
There’s tracks like -Paragon which consists of those dynamically smooth piano keys that rock that hypnotic rhythm and loop! That’s associated with those surreal drum work and sticky chords that give this song that cryptic vibe that makes the verses feel that much more explosive!
What about the track -Living The Dream! It starts off with those slightly distorted keys that later advances into these subtle piano keys alongside some of the heaviest bass work I’ve heard all year!
you put that with vicious drum beats and glistening keys in the background and you’ve got a track built for solid bars! This is also the track that has a tad bit of auto tune attached to it? Did I love it? No but it definitely was shocking and caught me by surprise!
Look, B1 is one of the strongest in the game right now. He has an almost mutant power to attract the dopest to him and utilise it into fantastic features and instrumentals! If you haven’t been following his career so far Of B1 may life hit you with a F5!
