No Compromises

Man this is an exciting day! Why? Because it’s been a strong minute since the last time I covered this man and with his intriguing unique style I was waiting to see what he’d do next and now that it’s here (not to mention with a powerhouse producer) this one has no chance of missing! Let’s fucking go! This is the brand new EP by MC -Sin and Producer -JazzyLionMan and together they drop this heavy 3 track experience that features -Killa Cali -G-Tune And this thing starts off heavy as we have the track -I’m Here which has this piano heavy boom Bap gritty exterior with those haunting piano loop that comes in two seperate layers! One in the forefront and one in the background on that mesmerising combination! That is accompanied with that thick bass strings and some minimal drums that makes this one of the more skeletal tracks on the record but what makes this such a banger track is the two features that explode on the instrumental! They hold nothing back in ripping the beat to shreds! Truly incredible On the second track -UGSCS we have what sounds like a distorted Soul track on steroids! You’ve got that snippet style vocal loop that covers the track along side these chord progressions that remind me of a swarm of bees coming towards you! Quite eerie There’s also some hypnotic drum beats and some more vicious beats that turn this into a hardcore raw track that I’m sure everyone will love! This song also has the return of G-Tune! Turns out he said get enough of the spotlight and his verse once again massacred the instrumental! On the final track -FIN. It’s a truly mesmerising experience. I felt like I left earth entered the 4th dimension! You’ve got those atmospheric chords and key progressions that work together to create this outer worldly sonic experience that is definitely unique! That’s also combined with some methodically charged drums and a consistent bass line that feels like a ringing pulse that remains in your ear until the track is over! When we discuss the MC work for this one specifically it feels like I just bit into the freshest most ripe fruit I’ve ever had. Weird analogy I know but that feeling always makes you happy and this is exactly how I felt listening to this EP because it reminded me why I respect this guy as a MC so much and how talented he really is! Even though this EP is only 8 minutes he doesn’t waste a single second of it! We see him rapping like the rent is due. Fast paced verses and bars with a stack of powerful, personal and introspective lyricism woven into it as well. Specifically track two where he discusses a certain issue about parenting that I found quite interesting! He’s a man who doesn’t mince what he says and says what’s on his mind. That level of commitment and conviction id say is pretty rare these days and it makes this listening experience that much more authentic! Of course his chemistry with the 2 MC’s goes hard as hell as they all bring their best to the table with their own unique personalities, cadences and dope as fuck performances! I couldn’t believe how much I was enjoying the feature verses. Had my face all scrunched up and shit listening to it! Was fantastic! All in all for 8 minutes of run time? Not sure if you’ll find better. The production was obviously killer. Agent Sin knocked it out of the park and the features helped increase the quality of the EP! Win, Win, Win!
