I’d love to know what this man takes to create beats of this caliber. It’s as if he’s stepping into a seperate dimension portal and returns with a sonic substance that the world hasn’t heard before! Absolutely ridiculous. Anyway it’s time to cover a brand new single by one of my favourite duo’s in the game right now. This is the brand new single by MC -MIYAGISUN and Producer -GHOSTXMACHINE and this is 3 minutes and 1 second of some of the most distinctive, destructive and disturbing hip hop variants I’ve ever heard (in the best way possible) Across this tape we hear Ghost bring together this mixture of distorted soul samples mixed with experimentally methodical piano keys, angelic melodies in the background that sounds like angels trapped within this swirl of chaos! There’s also this scattering bass chords and surreal drums that can be heard slightly if you can seperate all the other crazy elements in this song! Again this sounds like being dosed and trapped in a dark room letting your most unhinged thoughts roam free! I suppose if the prideful lion broke down and starting crying I guess this is what it would sound like! Holy shit what a morbid idea to think of and yet this instrumental fits that narrative perfectly! Somehow (as he always seems to pull off) we hear -MIYAGISUN navigate this score of madness and pull off another round of hypnotic and sharp lyricism that makes you feel like he’s a modern day Anubis travelling through the lost souls and chaos of the world around him to deliver his smooth sermons that captivate the land of the living! I love how his voice sits ontop of all the noise! As if he’s riding directly above it all, we hear him in a variety of sounds from a high pitch distorted version to his normal cryptic lyricism that forces you to listen a handful of times just to catch all his puns and meanings you missed the first time around! On this one he provides a sense of dark poetry that is delivered with his smooth, un phased demeanour that is a direct contrast to the music around him! 3 minutes of straight fire with his untouchable wordplay and penmanship. I feel at this point his chemistry with -GHOST is too powerful for him to ever falter around him and that’s why his verses sound so luscious! Once again, another masterpiece single by the dynamic duo. This sound won’t be for everyone but for the audience it’s targeting YOU WILL LOVE IT!
