First of all, let’s talk the MC’s. I’ll be frank I don’t have much experience with anyone except Planet Asia on this one but after listening to this one a few times I can safely say they all brought it in their own unique ways and brought individual personalities to the table! Each man seems to sync with the one that comes after! Although you are hearing 4 different cadences they all stay in the atmosphere of the track! No one is standing out for any of the wrong reasons but instead each of them further build on the overall structure of the song to make a great presentation of lyricism, charisma and in depth pen game and hip hop dialogue that Let’s the audience see a collection of various ways of the culture which is dope! This beat I’ll tell you I wasn’t expecting it to hit me in the face the way it did with that vocal sample right out the gate? That’s how you know it’s gonna be a smash instrumental when it takes over your body that quickly! This one immediately starts with this loud/classical style looped vocal harmony of this woman singing some kind of foreign melody! Building on that we have some ridiculously heavy bass, rhythmic drum patterns and somewhere in the background there is what sounds like some plucked strings! I also love the fact he cut and sampled Big Pun! In definitely added a layer of depth to the track! This is the type of boom Bap trademark track you’d want if you’re going to set up a cypher style track! It’s mesmerising enough to have repeated replay value to enjoy these MC’s go off time and time again! It has a tight closed circuit that can last hours before you’d get sick of it!
