Now, dare I say this might be the most ambitious sounding this producer has gone in the last couple years? I would know I covered most of if not all of this man’s 2025 discography and who we worked with! While I loved all the drops this rapper might be the one to bring out the most original and interesting sounds out of the beat maker! With that in mind, let’s talk about why! This is the brand new album by MC -Nvy Jonez Lkr with production by mega producer -Machacha and together they drop this compelling 10 track project with the likes of -Bruxas Brew -Chop The Father -Felix De Luca -D-Rell -Rodey Cali’s Remedy -ethemadassassin -K.Burns -Lenox Hughes -Starz Coleman -Apollo -Sham Blak -Amor Hitz And with this extensive roster to accompany the pair we get one of the most distinctive and memorable listening experiences I’ve had in a while from the structure, the choruses, the performances and the overall feel of the album that makes it sound like unlike anything you’ll hear in 2026. I guess we can start with the vocal performances! As Nvy is someone who has a one of a kind voice and I can confidently say he doesn’t sound like anyone else in the world! He has a blend of tribal rooted sounds and phrases that’s mixed with a lively and engaging form of hip hop that gives off a strong passionate aura that he brings with him across each and every track he’s on! Whether on tracks such as -ORO ORO where he yells that chorus in such a hypnotic/cultural manner that gives goosebumps on the track! Or what about his performance on the song -UNO UNO? I loved his mesmerising flow, sharp lyricism and again the way he does that chorus one? With those crazy sounding adlibs! He kind of sounds like a blend of it JID grew up alongside the original Odd Future click and if you blended those two styles this is what you would get! He’s brash, he bounces all over the place on the tracks. On some tracks he’s full yelling and spazzing out, the next he’s calm and showcasing his strong penmanship and linguistics! He doesn’t follow a rhyme or reason just seems to go based on how he feels at any given moment and that’s why he has such a naturally/organic sense to him that I find absolutely infectious on this album! Not to mention his synchronicity with the various features! Some I hadn’t heard till now, others I knew just how powerful they are on the mic and he matches everyone without hesitation! If I had to play devil’s advocate and choose my favourite feature it would have to be either -Apollo/K.Burns! On Machacha’s side of things and as I tried to explain in the intro these are some of his most diverse, dynamic and distinctive instrumentals I’ve heard him rocking with. No doubt to compliment the enigma that is Nvy but regardless this score could be remembered as one of his strongest to date! From tracks like -ORO ORO with those sharp and loud strings that’s paired with those delicate piano keys that later introduces the drum beats and complimented with some thick bass that all comes together to create this minimal yet heavy handed track that a quarter way through be track we hear those drums EXPLODE and light the entire track on fire! What about tracks like -ECW as we get this wavy and hypnotic beat that combines the elements of this spiraling chord progressions, heavy bass and some ridiculously thudding drums that all come together to create the perfect cypher type music for all the features to go off on! Again minimal but Machacha being the god of beats that he is he turns it into a MUST LISTEN! We can even discuss the track -BURNAMAN (97 Goldberg) which might be the most interesting instrumental on the album! With this one we have such elements as those mesmerising piano keys that sound a tad bit distorted! Combined with some methodically charged drum pattern, heavy bass and this shrieking chord sound that comes in and out of the track! As far as chemistry and connection goes you’d be hard pressed to find one as solid as these two! From the dominant features, unpredictable performances and memorable beats you’ve got it all on here!
