Dance 4 Me

Well, I never thought I’d witness the day I see this side of the duo! Am I mad? Hell no! Am I stunned? Most certainly. Here I am trying to write this review and Instead I’m actin a fool grooving in my lunch room! Damn what a switch, let’s talk about it! This is the new single by MC -MIYAGISUN and Producer -GHOSTXMACHINE and this one is literally 2 minutes and 55 minutes of Alt RnB/Lo Fi RnB Pop! If all that had a baby then this would be the result! This shit is absolutely hectic! Let’s start with the MC work goes. Have I not said in all my reviews that MIYAGI can adapt and work with anything given to him? Sure he remains coated in that Poetry rap/Lo Fi lane but whenever we’ve seen him deviate and try other sounds he’s just as capable of blending into that field as we see here! This is a fucking DANCE track and he still holds his own, sounding like a prime Drake variant! Grooving melodies all across the track, smooth verses, slick bars and a more laid back charisma to match said music style! Even in this form he doesn’t hold up on his complex lyrical patterns. Although laid back it’s more of a ‘Shakespeare going casual’ not your standard casual! Even when he’s chill on a beat he still out classes most the rappers out here and combine that with a dance for an irresistible performance that will have you somehow mean mugging and dancing simultaneously! As far as the production goes. We have once again GHOST who I dare say goes the MOST out of his element then we’ve heard yet! On this one we start with this Lo Fi chords in that echoing fashion that takes a background role when the song progresses as we are introduced to this beautiful bass that feels like it’s penetrating your brain it’s so thick! There’s some lush keyboard keys and some groovy drum rhythms that adds tons of texture to the track! Again, this one ain’t GHOST’S normal bag, it’s bright, funky, literal dance music that is produced in a grand fashion to give this track an incredible amount of depth and replay value! Just when I thought these two had revealed all their sides they go and do this! Absolutely insane trust me, for your sanity, stress and soul you’ll NEED to peep this one! You’ll be left like a Disney movie civilian! Forced to dance to the tunes!
